Remember last week we were talking about Gobza? Last week we were talking about how it works for businesses – you can read about it here: Gobza for business. Well this week, we take a little closer look at the way in which it works for customers. It always helps to add those online discounts to your shopping. Ever googled “promo code for pizza delivery” or “discount code for online shopping”. Sometimes you get lucky and find a code that knocks 5% off the total cost. But what if there were a better way of getting deals?

Daily deal sites have proven that there is a huge demand for people wanting to get extra discounts on their goods – the only problem with daily deal sites is that they can only provide the deals one at a time, one day at a time. What about a daily deals site, that offers incredible discounts that are available all the time – so that when you actually want them, they are there?

Well once Gobza is launched in the UK – that is exactly what it will provide. You will be able to search out the best deal. And here’s the kicker, because the businesses don’t have to pay to advertise – there is huge competition between the various businesses – resulting in? That’s right! Really really good deals for the customers. The vouchers will cost a menial amount that will be offset by the discount of the end product. Every one is a winner. But that’s not even the most exciting part…

While you are shopping, if you recommend your friends and family to sign up using your link, you will earn commission on every purchase they make. Forever! PLUS, you will get commission on any of THEIR friends that sign up and THIERs, for up to four “waves” of members. You could literally be earning £1000′s just by getting people to sign up. And once they do, you never need to do anything about it again – other than enjoy the income stream. The more people you sign up, the more commission you make. Simple as that. It’s a win win situation.

So why not sign up early in the UK. Gobza is running mainly in the USA, so we don;t have full functionality yet – but now is the time to get in on the links and signups, so that when it does arrive, you are already earning commission from all the people you have signed up. It’s almost a case of sign up, tell some people and forget about it. Then when it does arrive, you’ll be a part of the action. So why not get involved today? Sign up before it’s too late here: gobza.co.uk or watch the youtube video here to learn more: Gobza for shoppers.

If someone offered you free money, you’d probably ask “what’s the catch”. And if we were to tell you a way in which to raise funds for free, you’d probably ask the same thing. Understandably. But we are very excited by the most recent online viral discovery. It may sound like a crazy theory but, you can sign up and start earning from it – completely free of charge. It is literally a case of “you may as well, there is nothing to loose”.

We’re going to be talking about this from the perspective of a business – we’ll be talking about the perspective of a customer or charity in our next post. But let’s talk money.

Every business can benefit from a little bit of extra cash, whether it’s for use to be invested in SEO or other essential areas of the business. But imagine a situation where you could earn some money as WELL as advertising your business completely free. It’s starting to sound a bit too good to be true now, right? Well it’s not. There is a new marketing scheme based in the States that is soon to arrive in the UK. It’s already proved a dramatic success and is now starting to gain heavy credibility the world over.

The name? Gobza. You may have heard of it. But here’s how it works. You sign up from our link below. Then you register your business. Now you get to do two things. Firstly, you are given a dedicated link, this link can be used to sign up other customers, businesses and charities – who can all benefit from Gobza.

The second thing you can do is advertise. At this stage, Gobza is primarily based in the USA, so this will be available soon in the UK – but when it becomes available, you will be able to advertise your business for free. You know those deals from daily deals sites – like Groupon or Wowcher? You can add a deal like these, one like 45% off a website or buy one tyre and get one free. These deals are free to post onto the Gobza website. Then a customer can come along, select the deal and purchase for a small fee. They can then use the voucher at your business to get the deal they are looking for. It only costs you the discount you are offering! But where does the customer paid money go? Well that’s the clever bit.

Remember the first step? Signing up your friends, businesses and charities? For every person who buys a voucher, the person who signed them up gets a percentage of the profit – and the person who signed THEM up gets a percentage too – all the way up to four waves of members.

So if you sign up a friend, who signs up ten friends, who each sign up ten friends, who each sign up ten friends – that’s a whole lot of commission you are earning, for free.

It’s a win win for business. And like we say, it’s risk free. It doesn’t cost you a penny. Wonna know more? You can sign up here: gobza.co.uk or you can watch the promotional video here: Gobza Uk.

One of the greatest things about the Internet is that you can communicate with many people in a short space of time, irrespective of time zones and distance. That’s probably what makes social networking sites, like Facebook, so popular. It’s a means to utilise this fantastic side of the Internet. But how can you harness this capacity into developing the perfect marketing solution for your website?

In some ways (definitely not always), it comes down to who you know. I’m not just talking about special opportunities, I mean literally the volume of people you know who are willing to press the “like” button on your Facebook page or to mention your article on LinkedIn. People go to great measure to get their numbers up. In fact you can get 300 likes in a day, if you pay the right people. The more people you are connected with online, the more you can make the most of the Internet and the way in which you can market your website. It doesn’t really matter who they are, as long as they are willing to share your website (or information). So then the question becomes, how can you make your material good enough that people want to share it. Well that’s the key.

Are people just gonna share your website because they love you. A few will. But more often, they will feel “it’s not the sort of thing I want to share with all my friends or addresses in my Email book”. Then again, when the content becomes interesting, then we have a ball-game.

If you can take your content and make it interesting, you can take your website from 5 likes through to thousands and thousands of views. One of the best examples of this is in the early days of the Internet, when videos were just starting to become popular. Reebok produced a viral advertising campaign called Terry Tate: Office linebacker. You can watch these videos online still today: youtu.be/RzToNo7A-94. Reebok learned that if their adverts were funny enough, people would share it. Even if their brand was only slightly involved.

Another, more recent, example is the Internet sensation, Gobza. Starting in the USA, the company produced a model that would benefit everyone that got involved with the project – therefore making the system naturally viral. Businesses got free advertising out of it, Customers got unbeatable deals and users earned commission on the deals that were offered. The win-win nature meant utilised the viral nature of the Internet. You can learn more about Gobza here: www.gobza.co.uk.

These are just a few examples of how to make your material more appealing to the everyday Internetter. It’s worth considering!

Symbaloo. It’s a technology that has apparently been around for a while now, but we’ve only just seen it. In short, imagine a graphical search engine and your collection of web bookmarks rolled into one.

You can basically sign up and build yourself a “Webmix” – which is essentially a grid that you place icons onto. You choose the icons, their colours and you can add images as well. They can then either link to OTHER webmix’s (so imagine bookmarks within folders) or link out straight to a website.

It’s not far off what Google have achieved with the custom Google homepage, but this is slightly different in that it looks really cool! We especially like the little icons that you can create and position. Not least because they are bright and app-like, but also because you can then fit more onto the page than you could with a Google home page.

How does this help you with SEO? It doesn’t. Not directly, anyway. But managing your time efficiently online is key to ensuring you are motoring your websites effectively. With that in mind, this handy little tool will lend you a helping hand when it comes to all things quick and links.

So if you are looking to speed up your web experience. Delete you bookmarks and just save this one. www.symbaloo.com. But keep us bookmarked all the same ;)
